and reviews.

April 2011: The Concord Chorale is pleased to announce that they have named Kristofer Johnson as permanent Music Director, beginning with the 2011-2012 concert season.
July 2010: The Concord Chorale, accompanied by a 130 piece symphony orchestra, performed 2 pieces in the Star Wars in Concert multi-media event in July 2010. Star Wars in Concert featured well-known themes from the Star Wars movie saga as it carried the audience on a musical tour of that galaxy far, far away. The Chorale sang "Duel of the Fates" and "Battle of the Heroes" written by well-known composer John Williams for the prequel episodes released in the last decade. Anthony Daniels, who played C-3PO in all 6 Star Wars films, gave an inspiring pep talk to the Chorale and was the nararrator during the concert. The force was with us! December 12, 2010: A review appeared on the Classical Voice of New England website. "The flowing melodic lines and calming cadential statements of Stravinsky's prayerful Ave Maria, along with Eric Whitacre's bewitching composition Lux Aurumque, were perhaps the most impressive and gratifying selections and highlights of the first half if not of the entire program, leaving the audience with both a sense of satisfaction as well as repose."
May 24, 2007: A review appeared in the Concord (MA) Journal. "The Concord Chorus of Massachusetts and the Concord Chorale of Concord, N.H., both under the baton of Ryan Turner, wowed a standing room only audience with a fully realized performance of Mendelssohn’s dramatic oratorio “Elijah” at Cary Hall, Lexington last weekend."
